Floral and shell-embossed border, central diamond-shaped cartouche with
silk and dove, bordered with lace, applied hand-painted flowers
and script verse. Corners toned, slight damage.

12. Signed Marcus Ward folder with exterior verse. Interior: lace border, chromolithographed woman, in the style of Kate Greenaway.

13. Octavo Valentine with embossed, silvered, and chromolithographed
floral border. Central silk cartouche decorated with gold paper ring.
Embossed envelope, postmarked Brandon, Vermont, with 3-cent stamp, Scott # 25, 1857.
